Queens of Neon

Neon used to be something you'd see in an eighties romcom or what we'd imagine every character on Flashdance or Fame would be wearing.

But now it's a must-have this season. Whether it's nail polish, or a necklace, or a brightly coloured tee!

While neon can really make an outfit pop and is very on trend, don't over do it.

The necklaces above are from Penny's and are only two of many neon necklaces available from there and other high street stores. It's a simple way to introduce neon to an outfit without over doing it.

For example, wearing a neon hat with a relatively mono chrome outfit is very cool or a neon bag with an all black outfit makes it instantly more interesting.

And if that doesn't convince you, just talk to Laura who is obsessed with neon yellow and Lime green at the moment. She can look and buy nothing else at the moment!

For the summer it looks like neon is here to stay.
